The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Your role will involve using various POS systems and contributing to a positive team environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care Operate POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment Skills Previous barista or coffee experience preferred, with knowledge of beverage preparation techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations Experience in the food industry or food service is advantageous Proficiency in operating POS systems

Schedule:

Saturdays and Sundays and possibly 1-2 days of the week.
