Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair in a high traffic, high flow coffee bar. Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards. Operate POS systems (Square). Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, dining spaces, and equipment to adhere to health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with restocking supplies as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments preferred, but not required. Familiarity with Square POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety procedures, food handling practices, and proper sanitation protocols. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
