Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant café team as a Barista Cashier, where you will energize our customers' day with exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. In this dynamic role, you will combine your passion for coffee and food with your talent for efficient cash handling and customer engagement. Duties Schedule Expectations:
Mondays:
12:30-4:30pm,
Fridays:
12:30pm-4:30pm,
Saturdays and Sundays:
11:30am-3:30pm
Pay & Perks:

What You'll Do:
Open and/or close the café during your shifts Prepare all beverages and plate pastries Handle cash and POS transactions Ensure smooth operations while on duty Provide excellent customer service to our guests Support the team with daily café tasks
What We're Looking For:
Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy (barista experience is a plus, but not required) Friendly and customer-focused Comfortable working independently at times Weekend availability is essential Skills Proven experience as a barista or in the food industry with strong coffee knowledge and serving skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as CAKE POS, Toast POS, or Square POS, for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail.
