Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista/Cashier to join our Smithtown team. This part-time role is essential in providing excellent service, preparing beverages and bakery items, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to company standards. Handle cash register operations, process transactions accurately, and manage daily sales reports. Assist with bakery display setup and maintain cleanliness and organization of the store. Restock products and ingredients as needed and ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and friendly manner. Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in customer service, retail, or food & beverage is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Passion for coffee, bakery items, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
