Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic retail math to ensure smooth sales operations Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, including handling food safely and adhering to health regulations Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support café operations Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Experience Proven barista experience in a café or food service environment, demonstrating proficiency with coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, sales reporting, and inventory management Experience in serving in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail transactions Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable coffee experiences while working in a lively setting that values your expertise!
