Job Description
Event/Bar/Restaurant Staff "World Famous" Iron Horse Saloon is Northeast Ohio's Premiere destination for bikers and party goers!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Believes in and follows all Iron Horse Saloons employee handbook standards and expectations.
- Punch in, sign in, and report to the general manager/department manager on time and in full uniform for each shift.
- Obtain manager's approval prior to punching out.
- Perform bar set-up, running side work and closing duties.
- Sell guests by communicating with extensive product knowledge.
- Reports 100% of tips for each shift.
- Prepares stunning, handcrafted beverages with consistency of recipe and attractively garnished.
- Works with "team work" always in mind.
- Completes bar clean up.
- Compute guest checks, operate the POS system, Accept payments according to company cash handling policies.
- Maintains restaurant safety and sanitation.
- Serve guests according to established procedures.
- Attend all employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
- Avoid leaving work area during peak periods.
- Take breaks only at non-busy periods in compliance with the Rockstar Party Bars standards.
- Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Must pass alcohol and food certification examination.
- Is aware of, and abides by all liquor service laws.
- Do not over serve guests or serve underage guests.
- Must pass general information and departmental tests with a grade of 90% or higher.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the general manager/ manager
- We are looking to hire Bartenders, Canoe/Kayak Livery Help, Cooks and Individuals looking to cross-train in these areas
