Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift's end Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide outstanding customer service Handle food handling and serving duties, including basic food prep tasks like assembling sandwiches or snacks Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth café operations Experience Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment is preferred Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and retail math principles such as café sales calculations and cash management Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
