Barista

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed. Promote sales through effective communication of menu items and specials to customers. Skills Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Sales skills to effectively promote menu items and enhance customer experience. Experience in food preparation within a café or retail environment is preferred but not required.
