PM Barista/ Front of House Fika Cafe Lakewood, OH Job Details Part-time $15 - $17 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Customer communication Café Basic math Barista experience Food & beverage industry Time management Full Job Description Fika Cafe is looking for a weekend closer! This position is part-time, Friday-Sunday. Ideally the shift will be 1:30pm - 9:30pm 8 hour shifts totaling 24-25 hours. Willingness to learn and time management skills are key! Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks Contribute to the atmosphere Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and beverage stations in compliance with food safety standards Serve prepared food according to customer orders PM shift: Serve light alcoholic beverages such as wine and beer PM shift: Supervision of evening shift. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is most important! Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety practices, and food handling procedures Basic math skills
