If you are an independent worker who wants to contribute to a locally owned and focussed coffee shop The Bard's may be right for you. The Barista position involves food service, so the ability to work independently and accurately is a must. Some experience is welcome but not required. Special consideration will be given to those who have a Level 1 or Level 2 Food Safe Certification. Baristas have a variety of customer service tasks, including making coffee, teas, espresso drinks, and sodas. Some minor baking is required. Baristas also make a small variety of made to order bagel sandwiches. The Barista job is also responsible for the cash register along with shop cleanliness.
