Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking food and beverage orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations Operate POS systems such as Toast to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and beverage stations Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy using the POS system. Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving food items in accordance with safety guidelines Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service and smooth operations Skills Proven experience as a barista or bartender with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage crafting Familiarity with POS systems for sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures in a café or food service environment Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about delivering top-notch service while honing their skills in the food industry.
