NOTE:
Exceptional bartenders may be considered for advancement into a Bar Manager role, based on demonstrated leadership, training ability, and performance during training and on the job.Key Responsibilities include:
Greeting each guest by name, introducing yourself, and asking for their name to create a personalized experience. Preparing and serving beverages — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic — to menu standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation. Monitoring guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol consumption; refusing service when necessary in compliance with state law and company policy. Engaging guests in friendly, professional conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, equipment, and glassware. Checking identification to verify guests are of legal drinking age. Supporting fellow FOH teammates to ensure smooth operations throughout the restaurant. Following all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures as outlined by company policy and health department standards. Representing Hatch with professionalism, maturity, and pride in every interaction. Required Physical & Mental Abilities Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours). Must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds and perform physical activities requiring frequent walking, bending, reaching, and pushing. Ability to work at least 3 days a week including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Ability to read, write, and follow both written and verbal instructions. Strong ability to multitask and remain calm in high-volume, fast-paced environments. - Required Before Employment Oklahoma ABLE Employee License (Liquor Server Permit): Required for all bartenders.
