From specialty coffee to brunch cocktails, every beverage should match the quality of our food and the warmth of our hospitality. Our restaurant operates from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM giving bartenders the unique opportunity to craft beverages that pair with both our daytime brunch menu and our lunch comfort food offerings. We're looking for mature, energetic, and guest-focused individuals who take pride in their craft and bring consistency to every beverage served. Front of House team members are expected to live out our five core values in every shift: Purpose, Kindness, Hunger, Initiative, and Guardianship. These values define how we treat our guests, how we support our team, and how we deliver an experience that goes beyond a meal.
NOTE:
Exceptional bartenders may be considered for advancement into a Bar Manager role, based on demonstrated leadership, training ability, and performance during training and on the job.
Key Responsibilities include:
Greeting each guest by name, introducing yourself, and asking for their name to create a personalized experience. Preparing and serving beverages — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic — to menu standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation. Monitoring guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol consumption; refusing service when necessary in compliance with state law and company policy. Engaging guests in friendly, professional conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, equipment, and glassware. Checking identification to verify guests are of legal drinking age. Supporting fellow FOH teammates to ensure smooth operations throughout the restaurant. Following all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures as outlined by company policy and health department standards. Representing Hatch with professionalism, maturity, and pride in every interaction. Required Physical & Mental Abilities Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours). Must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds and perform physical activities requiring frequent walking, bending, reaching, and pushing. Ability to work at least 3 days a week including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Ability to read, write, and follow both written and verbal instructions. Strong ability to multitask and remain calm in high-volume, fast-paced environments.   • Required Before Employment Oklahoma ABLE Employee License (Liquor Server Permit): Required for all bartenders.
This license must be obtained before beginning employment. Applicants who already have this license at the time of their interview will be able to move through the hiring process more quickly. More information on how to obtain license: https://oklahoma.gov/able-commission/employee-license-training-information.html Oklahoma Food Handler Permit (City of Lawton Approved Classes): Required for all bartenders who handle food and garnishes. This permit must be obtained before beginning employment. Applicants who already have this permit at the time of their interview will be able to move through the hiring process more quickly. Approved classes are offered by the Comanche County Health Department, typically at Lawton City Hall (2nd floor, 212 SW 9th Street).   • 2025-food-handler-class-schedule-whether-youre-just-starting-out-or-need-a-refr/1009098721255443/ Essential Duties & Responsibilities The essential duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Arrives on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work each scheduled shift with consistent attendance and professional appearance.
Follows Hatch's steps of service and position-specific standards at all times. Adheres to all policies and procedures outlined in Hatch manuals and the companywide Code of Conduct. Attends all mandatory meetings and completes required training and testing. Maintains detailed knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, and confidently describes offerings while suggesting pairings or upsells to guests. Completes all tasks assigned by management, including daily pre-opening and closing duties.
