Boba Barista

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality standards of our café. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in managing inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Utilize Aloha POS system or other point-of-sale systems for processing transactions effectively. Engage with customers to promote sales and suggest menu items based on their preferences. Qualifications Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Must be able to adhere to food handling safety standards.
