DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Passion for
Customer Service:
Welcome and connect with each customer. Effectively recommend products and accommodate purchases to enhance the customer experience. Provide product demonstrations and sampling. Focus on
Quality Assurance:
Only serve items that meet visual and product quality standards. Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safe food handling. Follow merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards. Present oneself in a clean professional manner during every shift. Contribute to
Store Profitability:
Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies. Follow inventory and stock guidelines. Assume responsibility to learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista: Responsible for self-initiated learning beyond the standard training program. Learn and demonstrate all standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferable supervisory and/or barista experience. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must have valid identification. Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
Special skills:
customer focused, strong interpersonal skills, and food handling certificate preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs Job cycles: continual max
Lift/carry:
50 lbs. Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
Category IV:
lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
Max pull static:
20 lbs.
