Job Description

We are seeking engaging, reliable, and team-oriented Café Associates who are passionate about food, coffee preparation, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is courteous, energetic, and committed to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Café Associate, you will be responsible for greeting guests, answering questions, taking orders, processing payments, and preparing and serving food and beverages. You will also help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace and dining area while continuously expanding your knowledge of food and beverage preparation, quality standards, presentation, and safety. This role requires flexibility, including availability for closing shifts and weekends, which are mandatory requirements . Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, professional manner Provide menu information, answer questions, and promote specials or new items Accurately take and process customer orders and payments Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee, tea, and custom drink orders Package food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and grab-and-go products Educate customers on coffee and tea options, blends, and preparation methods Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work and dining areas Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and surfaces in accordance with food safety standards Restock displays, replenish inventory, and update signage as needed Assist with inventory management and product rotation Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures Work collaboratively as part of a high-energy, customer-focused team Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in food service, beverage preparation, or customer service preferred Strong communication and active listening skills Positive, polite, and engaging personality Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods Willingness to learn and grow knowledge of food and beverage preparation Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Must have open availability, including evenings, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Schedule & Availability Part-time position: 20-28 hours per week Café hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7 days per week Scheduled shifts will fall between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Evening, closing shifts, and weekend availability are required (no exceptions) One position available with full-week availability (Sunday-Saturday scheduling flexibility required) We are looking for individuals who take pride in customer service, enjoy working in a team environment, and are dependable in both attendance and performance.
