Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty Yemeni coffees Ensure consistent quality in every drink, paying attention to details such as grind size, extraction time, and milk frothing techniques Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, answering any questions they may have about our coffee offerings and Yemeni culture Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our POS system Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and work area Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support during peak periods Contribute to the creation of new beverage recipes and specials, based on customer preferences and market trends Stay updated on industry trends and attend relevant workshops or training sessions

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista in a fast-paced coffee shop or cafe environment Excellent knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and the ability to adjust grind settings for optimal extraction Proficiency in latte art and the ability to create visually appealing coffee presentations Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Knowledge of Yemeni coffee traditions and culture is a plus We appreciate all applications, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
