Cafe Team Member / Barista

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, snacks, and other café offerings in accordance with food safety standards Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and sanitation procedures Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using basic math skills for transactions and register balancing Support food safety protocols and proper food handling practices to ensure quality and compliance Skills Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent time management to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Ability to work well in a team environment within a café or retail setting Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional coffee experiences and creating a welcoming space for every guest!
