We're a family-owned business with roots in Charleston, SC, and we're excited to expand our operations to Jacksonville, FL, with two new locations on Naval Air Station Jacksonville. We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Barista/Cashiers. About Us Ra Coffee Company is all about great coffee, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. As a family-owned business, we value teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to excellence. With four shops in Charleston and two new locations in Jacksonville, we're growing fast and looking for team members who want to grow with us. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts. We're closed most weekends and major holidays, so you'll have time to recharge and enjoy life outside of work. What You'll Be Doing As a Barista/Cashier at Ra Coffee Company, your day will be filled with a variety of exciting tasks, including:

• Preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks, baked goods, and sandwiches.
• Delivering outstanding customer service with a smile.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety guidelines.
• Interacting with customers professionally and warmly, creating a welcoming environment.
• Cleaning and sanitizing service and dining areas.
• Monitoring freezer and refrigerator temperatures to ensure proper functioning.
• Describing menu items to customers and making product recommendations.
• Receiving and stocking supplies.
• Assisting with back-of-house duties, including baking when needed.
• Handling customer payments accurately and efficiently. What We're Looking For We're seeking team players who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a love for coffee to the table. Here's what you need to succeed:
• No prior barista experience required—we'll provide training!
• Outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain a food handler's certificate within 30 days (we'll cover the fee).
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle money responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• A reliable attendance record and high integrity.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently during some shifts.
• Willingness to follow policies and procedures.
