At Café Charlotte, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel at home. We're looking for reliable, motivated team members who enjoy working with people and are comfortable both behind the counter (FOH) and in the kitchen (BOH). This is a hands-on role that includes barista service, customer interaction, and preparation of brunch and light food items. We are not hiring for summer-only work. We're seeking a reliable, long-term team member to grow with us. Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages Prepare simple breakfast and light food items Take orders, operate the POS system, and handle payments Provide friendly and attentive customer service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and kitchen, following food safety standards Support team members and work independently when needed We're looking for someone who: Has a friendly, positive, and engaging personality Communicates clearly and enjoys interacting with customers Can multitask, stay organized, and perform well in a fast-paced environment Requirements Availability 3-4 days per week, including weekends Punctual, flexible, and dependable Previous café or food service experience is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Paid training Free food during shifts Employee discount $18/hour guaranteed (base + tip distribution), with opportunity to earn more
