Overview Join our vibrant café team as a Barista and become the heart of a bustling coffee shop! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and handle cash, credit, or mobile payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure quality and compliance Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing accuracy or quality Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Qualifications Prior barista experience required Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of the dial-in process for espresso beans Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of basic coffee drinks and how to assemble them Join us if you're motivated to deliver exceptional coffee experiences while honing your skills in food service!
