Position Overview As a Barista, you'll play a key role in delivering the Canal Coffee experience. You will prepare high‑quality beverages, serve fresh baked goods, and create a friendly, welcoming environment for every customer. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly as they approach the service window Take orders accurately, including blend preferences, dairy choices, and sweetness levels Prepare beverages according to recipes and customer customizations Serve coffee, cookies, pastries, muffins, and other prepared items Process payments (cash and credit) efficiently and accurately Maintain a clean, organized bar and work area Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs Follow all health, safety, and sanitization guidelines Communicate customer feedback and suggest potential new menu items Requirements Previous work experience: barista experience is a plus Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends Basic math skills Strong communication and customer‑service abilities Ability to notice and respond to customer preferences Positive attitude and passion for working with people Why Join Canal Coffee?
