We proudly source our coffee from independent roasters along the Grand Strand and Carolina coast, delivering fresh, high-quality espresso in a unique and eclectic beachside setting. Located just steps from the ocean in Myrtle Beach's Boardwalk district, HiFi Coffee Bar offers more than great coffee. We also serve smoothies, baked treats, hot and cold breakfast and deli sandwiches, and specialty beverages, creating a vibrant café experience for both locals and visitors. As part of a well-established oceanfront hospitality group, we are committed to quality, consistency, and memorable customer service. HiFi Coffee Bar is seeking experienced, high-energy Baristas to join our team in beautiful Myrtle Beach. If you take pride in crafting quality espresso drinks, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy engaging with customers, this is the role for you. This is not an entry-level coffee position. Prior hands-on barista experience using commercial espresso equipment is required. What You'll do Greet customers promptly with a friendly, upbeat attitude Assist customers with menu selections and provide beverage recommendations Provide attentive, welcoming service in a high-volume coffee shop environment Address customer concerns professionally and involve a supervisor when needed Prepare espresso-based beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, americanos, and specialty drinks Operate commercial espresso machines and grinders confidently and independently Steam milk to the proper temperature and texture for quality drink preparation Prepare drinks accurately and efficiently during busy periods Maintain drink quality, consistency, and presentation standards Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system accurately Handle cash and card transactions responsibly Ensure transaction accuracy and proper payment processing Maintain cleanliness of counters, espresso machines, equipment, and customer areas Follow SCDA food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Keep workstations stocked with cups, milk, syrups, and supplies Support team members and communicate effectively during busy shifts Follow direction from shift leads and managers Work full scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods Stand for extended periods during full scheduled shifts
What We're Looking For Required:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on barista experience in a high-volume coffee environment required Ability to operate commercial espresso machines and prepare espresso-based beverages independently Ability to provide friendly and courteous customer service Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work full scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays Reliable attendance and punctualityPreferred:
High school diploma or equivalent Work Schedule & Environment Part-time or full-time opportunities available Year-round or seasonal employment Seasonal period typically runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day If hired part-time, employee must be able to work the full scheduled shift Average 25 hours per week for part-time roles Up to 40 hours per week during summer and holiday weeks o Day shift: approximately 8:00AM- 5:00PMo Evening shift: approximately 5:00pm
