Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of bubble teas, specialty drinks, and snacks following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas in compliance with food safety standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change and totals Follow food safety protocols related to food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Qualifications Previous barista or food service experience preferred, especially within cafés or retail environments involving food handling Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food preparation techniques Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café area, and lift moderate loads when necessary Experience in the food industry or serving roles is a plus but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all Join us as a Boba Tea Barista where every shift is an opportunity to delight customers with your energy and expertise!
