Position Summary:

The Front of House team member is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, and preparing high-quality coffee and beverages. This role is the face of the shop and ensures every guest has a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to standard Handle cash and process payments using POS system Maintain cleanliness of front counter, seating areas, and beverage stations Answer questions about menu items, including pastries and food offerings Restock supplies (cups, lids, syrups, etc.) as needed Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service

Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Previous barista or customer service experience preferred (not required) Flexible availability, including weekends and mornings
