Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with precision and care Operate Square POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction Assist with food preparation, serving, and restocking supplies as needed to support smooth café operations Experience Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or coffee shop environment is highly preferred or food/service industry Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, Toast or Square enhances efficiency in transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order totaling Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques Experience in retail or food industry roles that involve serving customers and managing multiple responsibilities Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality service Hourly plus tips Flexible hours Must be a team player & work well with others.
