Job Description
Barista / Cashier Caf OliviaAt Caf Olivia, the person behind the bar sets the tone for the entire guest experience. We're looking for a Barista/Cashier who's fast, friendly, and takes real pride in the work from a perfectly pulled shot to a seamless transaction during a packed morning rush.
This is a front-line hospitality role. You'll be the first and last impression for every guest who walks through our doors, and we take that seriously.
What You'll DoGreet guests and take orders accurately at the counter and POSPrepare hot and cold coffee and espresso beverages to Caf Olivia standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and counter at all timesHandle cash and card transactions efficiently and accuratelySupport the team during high-volume rushes without sacrificing quality or hospitalityFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesRestock, rotate product, and assist with opening and closing duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForPrior caf or coffee shop experience preferred; specialty coffee knowledge is a plusCash handling experienceA positive, guest-first attitude even on the busiest daysAbility to stay calm, focused, and efficient in a fast-paced environmentStrong communicator and reliable team playerFood Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)Full availability Monday through Friday requiredCompensation & Schedule$17 to $28/hour based on tipsMonday through Friday scheduleFull availability preferredGrow With UsCaf Olivia is expanding and we promote from within.
