If you're passionate about specialty coffee, dedicated to exceptional customer service, and thrive in a refined environment, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting specialty coffee beverages, along with preparing and presenting our delicious food offerings. We're looking for someone who is not only skilled in coffee preparation but also possesses a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Schedule:

Must have weekend and some weekday availability. Shifts are from 6:30am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks to Tierra a Taza's high standards. Execute food preparation duties, ensuring all items are made to specification and presented beautifully. Provide outstanding customer service, anticipating needs and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our discerning clientele. Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure the coffee bar and food prep areas meet all health and safety regulations. Handle cash and card transactions accurately. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

Specialty Coffee Experience preferred. Must be willing and interested in learning about specialty coffee. Proven strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability. Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to create memorable experiences. Highly detail-oriented with a focus on quality and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, as needed.

Compensation:

Base pay ranges from $10-$12 per hour , commensurate with your experience. With tips, your average hourly earnings are expected to be closer to $15-$18 per hour .
