Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair. Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service. Serve food items, handle cash transactions, and manage cashiering duties with attention to detail and accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary options, and provide excellent customer service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient order fulfillment. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and café maintenance to uphold quality standards. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles within cafés or restaurants. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing registers. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
