Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with food handling regulations Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations and balancing at shift end Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals in the café area Ensure timely food service delivery by managing order flow and coordinating with kitchen staff Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role within the food industry Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling, and proper serving techniques Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced café environment Join us to craft exceptional coffee experiences while building your career in the vibrant world of food service!
