Overview Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream Barista and become the face of a fun, energetic, and customer-focused café environment! In this role, you will craft delicious ice cream treats, serve up smiles, and create memorable experiences for every guest. Whether you're a seasoned barista or new to food service, this position offers a dynamic opportunity to develop your skills in a lively setting that celebrates community and quality. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream desserts, sundaes, floats, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food handling, preparation, and serving areas Manage cash handling duties including cash register operations and basic math calculations for transactions Restock supplies, toppings, utensils, and ingredients to ensure smooth daily operations Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards Experience Previous barista experience or background in coffee or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food preparation techniques within the food industry Experience in serving or retail environments that require multitasking and quick thinking Join us as an Ice Cream Barista where your energy fuels our fun-filled atmosphere!
