The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality drinks and food items, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, sales, and POS systems within a vibrant coffee shop setting. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency. Handle food preparation tasks, including food safety and proper handling procedures. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Manage customer orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including cleaning equipment and food prep surfaces. Assist with ensuring food safety standards are met. Engage with customers to promote products and enhance their overall experience. Follow food industry standards for serving, food handling, and safety protocols. Experience Previous Barista experience or Coffee experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Basic knowledge of food safety , food preparation , and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Ability to perform retail math , handle cash accurately, and manage transactions confidently using cashiering skills. Experience in the food industry or is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
