As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving high-quality beverages. Your role will involve not only crafting delicious coffee drinks but also providing exceptional customer service and maintaining food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and encourage repeat business. Experience Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and beverage crafting. Cash handling experience is beneficial for managing transactions accurately. A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage offerings.
