Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café workspace, including food handling and food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment. Support sales efforts by upselling products and promoting new menu items to enhance guest experience. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to uphold food industry standards and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Skills Proven experience as a Barista with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage presentation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques. Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team setting while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
