Dallas, TX Reported - Supervisor or Team Leader Job Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality Traditional tea, coffee, espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks, as well as assisting with service in wiping the stuff for them. The role ensures excellent guest service, consistency in drink preparation, and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Mediterranean restaurant standards. ⸻ Duties Prepare Tea and serve coffee, espresso, tea, specialty beverages, and cold drinks according to recipes and standards. Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and brewing equipment. Steam and froth milk for lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks. Ensure drink presentation meets the Mediterranean restaurant quality and aesthetic standards. Take guest orders, handle transactions, and provide friendly, efficient service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, counters, and seating areas. Restock coffee beans, teas, milk, syrups, cups, and other barista supplies. Monitor freshness and quality of all beverages and ingredients. Support the team during peak hours with service, prep, or customer assistance. ⸻ Skills Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing methods, and espresso techniques. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods. Attention to detail in drink presentation and accuracy of orders. Basic math and cash-handling skills for operating the POS system. Ability to multitask between drink preparation, customer service, and station upkeep. ⸻ Qualifications Prior experience as a barista preferred; training can be provided. Knowledge of espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment. Familiarity with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean coffee/tea traditions is a plus. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to stand for long hours and handle repetitive tasks.

Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
