As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, providing exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality beverages. Your role will involve not only preparing and serving coffee and other drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Must have great customer service and a Big smile ! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate our Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Engage with customers to promote sales and suggest menu items based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately while performing basic math calculations for change. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a positive experience for customers. Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Proficiency in cash handling and retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and products.
