The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a desire to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a base pay plus tip position. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register, handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience. Skills Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and café operations is a plus. Proficiency in cash handling and basic retail math skills for accurate transaction processing. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
