Barista/Cashier

At least 2 years of cashier service experience is required.

Positions Available:

Barista/Cashier:

$12.00/hour + tips (around $4.50-$5.00/hr). Pay will increase with proficiency and increased responsibility. Mid-Shift available . Direct2Care provides Virtual Healthcare at no cost to you.

Barista/Cashier Responsibilities:

Greeting customers, informing them about specials and new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments Preparing specialty coffees and other beverages Maintain coffee knowledge on the menu and communicate product information to customers and team members Becoming even more knowledgeable about coffee, brewing methods, beverage recipes, storage, food preparation, and presentation to improve quality Informing customers about our amazing locally made sandwiches, baked goods, soups, salads, tacos, etc. Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment Updating signage and displays to attract customers Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, coolers, and storage areas Communicating and working as a team Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls

Ideal Candidates Possess:

2+ years of experience as a cashier is a must Passion for customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction required Enthusiasm for teamwork Excellent self professional presentation Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be able to stand during a full shift Punctuality, respect for others, and common sense A polite and outgoing personality Attention to detail and excellent follow-through
