Job Description
Job Overview JoVi Roasters Café is a specialty coffee shop dedicated to serving high-quality specialty coffee from around the world in a welcoming and friendly environment. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused baristas who are passionate about coffee and creating exceptional guest experiences. Job Summary As a Barista, you will prepare coffee and espresso beverages, assist customers, maintain a clean café environment, and help create a positive atmosphere for our guests. Previous coffee shop/barista experience is required. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences Provide friendly and professional customer service Operate POS systems, take customer orders accurately and process payments Maintain cleanliness of café, dining area, and workstations Support food service operations by assisting in food preparation when needed. Monitor inventory and report low-stock items Open and close the café according to procedures Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality standards Represent JoVi Roasters Café in a positive and professional manner Qualifications At least 18 years old Reliable transportation Ability to stand for extended periods Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience Cash handling and POS system experience
