Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Barista to join our vibrant café team! In this dynamic role, you will lead by example during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food and beverage preparation, and smooth daily operations. As a key team member, you will inspire your colleagues, uphold food safety standards, and drive sales through engaging interactions with customers. Your leadership will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise daily café operations during your shift, ensuring all team members deliver outstanding customer service and adhere to food safety protocols. Lead the preparation and serving of coffee, beverages, and food items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality. Manage cash handling, POS transactions Support sales goals by engaging customers with product knowledge, and creating a positive experience that encourages repeat visits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment in compliance with health regulations and food safety standards. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste through effective food preparation. Experience Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling techniques, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Experience in coffee preparation, serving beverages, and supporting food industry standards is a plus.
