Job Overview As a Barista at Huey's Coffee, you prepare handcrafted coffee and specialty drinks while providing friendly, upbeat customer service. The role involves working in a fast-moving environment, handling orders accurately, maintaining cleanliness, and helping create a positive experience for every guest. Typical Responsibilities Prepare espresso drinks, teas, frappes, and specialty beverages Take customer orders and operate the register Work efficiently during busy rush periods and drive-thru service Maintain a clean, organized workstation Restock supplies and follow food safety standards Communicate and work closely with team members Recommend menu items and provide excellent customer service Skills & Qualities Friendly and energetic attitude Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, team-oriented, and customer-focused Willingness to learn drink recipes and coffee equipment Comfortable standing for long periods and handling busy shifts What the Job Looks Like The job is usually busy and high-energy, especially during morning rushes. You spend most of your shift making drinks, talking with customers, handling payments, and keeping the workspace clean and stocked. Teamwork and speed are important, but so is creating a friendly atmosphere and making drinks consistently well. We are a faith based company and very patriotic!
