Job Overview Join our vibrant coffee shop team as a Coffee Shop Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming environment for every guest. In this role, you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, expertly preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, food items, and snacks following established recipes and food safety standards. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and manage POS systems with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Uphold food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and proper food safety practices. Requirements Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed. A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
