Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate cash handling and transactions Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Assist with retail sales of café merchandise and promote menu items to boost sales Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee is essential Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods; attention to cleanliness and safety standards is vital Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels great experiences!
