Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and talented Barista to work with our team. This skilled Barista should have a deep understanding of coffee and a desire to learn more. In addition to providing high-quality beverages and food, this candidate will feel comfortable providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You must know how to properly pull a shot, adjust the grind, steam milk, and have basic latte art patterns down. This is a tipped position. Hourly pay begins at $14
- 17 an hour plus tips, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and varying food items following company recipes
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service
- Uphold an impeccable level of store cleanliness by following cleaning guidelines and taking the initiative to clean and organize the shop
- Upsell products and help customers with menu choices
- Feel comfortable navigating a changing environment and offering feedback
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
Skills:
- At least 1 year of barista experience is required
- Proficiency in food handling procedures and practices
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to make our patrons feel cared for
- Willingness to assist team members as needed
