Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using established recipes and techniques Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries and light snacks while adhering to food safety standards Operate POS systems like Square efficiently for order processing and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Experience Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems, such as Square POS, is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, food safety, and food preparation Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math calculations, and cash handling tasks Experience in retail or food service roles demonstrating reliability and teamwork Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee and dedication to service will shine!
