Job Summary Join our vibrant café team as a Barista, where your passion for coffee and exceptional customer service will shine! Your expertise in coffee preparation and familiarity with POS systems will ensure smooth transactions and memorable experiences. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, emphasizing latte art skills to delight customers Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the café area, including food preparation and handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries professionally Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing registers at shift end using retail math skills Assist with food service tasks such as serving baked goods or light snacks, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed Requirements Previous barista experience with a strong preference for latte art skills to enhance beverage presentation Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth order processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic math proficiency for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques in a café or food industry setting Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail math is highly desirable Join us to craft exceptional coffee experiences while developing your skills in a lively, supportive environment.
