Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met. Operate Square POS system. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with attention to detail, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, food safety protocols, and food preparation procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods through strong time management skills to ensure smooth operations. Experience Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing. Experience in food handling, food preparation, or food service environments demonstrating attention to hygiene and safety standards. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry is advantageous.
