Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, ensuring a welcoming and clean dining area for guests. This role requires a passion for food service and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a hotel environment. Responsibilities Prepare and present breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, pastries, and beverages. Ensure all food is handled safely and meets health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment. Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing help as necessary. Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, toasters, and knives safely. Manage the cash register for any breakfast-related transactions. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management. Collaborate with management to ensure seamless service during special events. Qualifications Applicant must be Servsafe certified Previous experience in culinary or food service roles is preferred. Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus. Knowledge of meat cutting techniques is beneficial but not required. Strong food handling skills with an emphasis on safety and cleanliness. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work early morning shifts and occasional evening shifts as required.
