As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Your expertise in coffee preparation and consistency will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items according to standard recipes. Operate the Clover POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures during all food preparation activities. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively while maintaining quality service. Requirements Previous barista experience Ability to assist in prepping our house made syrups Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Strong time management and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
