Barista and Cashier Mobile Cafe (weekend/Event staff)

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the square POS system and cash register efficiently to process customer transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Qualifications No Previous experience in coffee preparation or food service required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
