Barista

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated weekend Barista (Friday& Saturday 2pm-7pm, Sunday 8am-3pm) to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while providing outstanding customer service. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced café environment, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied with their experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, teas, and other menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations and customer areas. Operate the Toast POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring that all items meet quality standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service efficiency. Skills Previous barista experience or coffee experience is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
